We took my son and grand daughter here and it was a success. The place is small but the staff are so friendly and great, especially a girl named Alex. She showed a great love for her job and for the children. The children were excited to have the different animals explained to them and in aw when they got... More

My spouse and I took our 4 5 month old daughter to check out the aquarium. We had a great time. The staff are very knowledgeable and the touch tanks are awesome. They had different starfish and a sea cucumber I loved it and even our baby did. It is small so don't expect something big and extravagant. Personally we... More

This little aquarium is a little sister to the one in ucluelet. Not as many ha do on displays but the guide there was very chatty and engaging. She had so much information to share about the sea life in the area. Would make sure to stop here if you are in Campbell river

Planned ahead to visit the aquarium during a visit to Campbell River but we were taken aback at how small it was. Expensive to get in but it is non profit so we were okay with that. Very small inside but we enjoyed watching the kids at the touch tanks. We expected more but we're okay with what we saw.

We absolutely loved this little aquarium. Although tiny in size there was so much to see & experience (& touch) . We even got to see crabs tending to their eggs in their pouch (who knew!!)) Staff were SO informative, helpful & caring. They spoke fondly of their sea creatures. We learned so much about the marine animals....much, much more... More

The Discovery Passage Aquarium is an excellent place to learn about the sea life in the Discovery Passage in Campbell River. There is a tank that allows the visitors to actually touch the sea life. The guides are knowledgeable of the sea life.

This is a small aquarium in the heart of downtown on Pier Street. This is family and especially kids oriented. This is a hands on aquarium where the staff explains what you are looking at and you can even touch the little critters. Kids love it.

I was soo surprised by how tiny this place was (after visiting the Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto), however for the town it is just right. The staff is quite knowledgeable and are eager to provide information. This is definitely a must visit for those visiting Campbell River.
