If you ask my kids, the playground is the best part, we have to drag them away. However the beach itself is great, with gentle slope, shallow water, plentiful space. The parking lot will get full before the beach will. The changing rooms for family...More

I stopped to take a walk and look around. I usually am making a bee line to the ferry or Vancouver, and have never stopped here. It is a lovely beach with lots of potential for picnics, bird watching, photography, etc

Spooky morning sunrise in the fog. Went to the beach to get some sunrise photos and was struck with this view on the drive in. Sun was still low in the sky and handed me an amazing framework. Tried my best.

This is a great location for a fun day at the beach. Being a Ladner resident, there is no fighting traffic to head to the Vancouver beaches. Free parking, a concession stand, washrooms, playground and plenty of sand and sea to enjoy.
