This is a park that the whole family can enjoy boasting what my daughter has called the best park for children she has ever been too. Right next to the swings etc. there is a water park to keep them cool and food vendors to keep them fed. The boardwalk is a lovely stroll or a short run depending on... More

What a wonderful park in the heart of Parksville. A boardwalk skirts the beach along the water Great playground for children. In the summer the sand castle competition is here as well. Bathroom facilities as well.

Stopped here while traveling in the area, with the intent on seeing the shore. What we did see was a well planned park that literally has something for all ages. It was lovely to walk along the shore and explore at low tide. The washrooms in the park were clean and in a good location. It was just great to... More

Grab the youngsters and head here. This is what you can expect. A great sandy big beach, a big kids playground and water park plus lots of grassy areas, tennis courts, food trucks, beach volleyball and in July and August there are Sand Sculptures to view. This is a fantastic place for kids, parents and grandparents or anyone else for... More

Hard to list everything this park offers. From a huge beach, board walks, very large playground for children, band stands, gardens to the incredible sand castles, oh and sports fields..too much to list.

Our community park is the most peaceful and beautiful place to spend the day. You have the view of the beach as well as the mountains. There is a wonderful park for the kids also places to purchase food.

If you are in the area, this is a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature. The boardwalk along the beach is well kept, and the area is very clean. There are porta potties if you need, and there are food trucks for the hungry. Photo opportunities are plentiful, and we saw a wedding heading to the beach for pictures. Its... More

This public park is always kept in immaculate condition and there is something for everyone there. We usually visit Parksville at least once every summer and there is always plenty of activities going on from the Sandcastle competition in August, to softball games, pickleball, tennis, picnics, skateboarding, kite-flying and for the Geocachers out there, there are several caches to be... This is by far our favourite spot when visiting Parksville. You can read a book on the beach, fly a kite, go for a walk on the boardwalk or watch kids play at the nearby playground. Basically, this park offers something for everyone. Fantastic place for sure.
