We had our band summer barbeque at Rathtrevor Park under one of the shelters, it was ok if want sunshine then you need to go out on to the beach because both of shelters are located close to the trees and are in the shade.

This is a very nice park, with amenities like washrooms, picnic and camping areas. Came here and walked with my two dogs along the trails enjoying the wonderful scenery of the coastline. Definitely worth a few hours to wander about.

Great park to walk the beach and watch the tide come in and go out! Sea walk is lovely as well. Peaceful and nice scenery.

Nice short walks in this area and beach looked good although tide was mostly in during my visit so couldn't see what beach would look like. Warmer sea water than I expected!

I walked on a windy cool Sept day and it was great, so I imagine how fantastic it will be to return on a blue sky warm day

You can camp here ( book at the beginning of the season so you won't be disappointed) or just drop in for a few hours. It is a provincial park, huge Sandy beach with the water shallow enough for little kids to be safe in....More
