The Steam train is fabulous. The Mill tour is educational and fun. We had a nice lunch at the Mill. The train robbery was so cool. Friendly helpful people from start to finish. Most enjoyable day.

We pre-booked our ride on the steam train for a special September trip to the McLean Mill. Good thing as it was sold-out! Lots of families, some seniors and a large group visiting from Sweden (pets are allowed on the train too). The volunteers were...More

Great to see a bit of history still steaming along. The ride is relatively short, and takes you to the McLean Mill (and back after a few hours), so makes for a nice, relaxed day outing. They mostly run the old logging steam locomotive but...More

Unfortunately we didn't have time to travel on the train due to lack of time, but would very much have liked to. So we just stopped by to see what was at the station. The folks there were delightful. They were very knowledgable, explaining everything...More

We had a fantastic ride today. Scenery is stunning, guide is fun, and I saw a black bear! Well done everyone who volunteer tweets on this. We will be back.

This is a quaint little piece of history. Good displays of train history and reproductions of local railway history.

A genuine experience of time past in the steam RR era. Townsfolk are obviously supportive, given the railside "surprises" en route to the sawmill.

Trip entrain to McLean Mill and Mill visit both excellent. The commentary on the train trip was informative & amusing. The McLean Mill, powered by stem engines was a revelation

Hi - I noticed that you went on the fathers day special - what time does the train run on that day please? and what time does it close on fathers day? We hope to make the fathers day trip next year before we go on a cruise so trying to work out if it is doable or not.
