While driving through from Vancouver Island to Calgary we decided to stop overnight in Revelstoke. In the morning we headed up to Revelstoke Mountain resort to try the Pipecoaster. Being after labour day and likely because it was mid-week (Wednesday) we got a deal on...More

Ski resorts in summer are a challenge to find attraction, but RMR being only about 10min to the main township helps keep some patronage. I arrived on a Thursday, mid afternoon, and there was at least an hour wait for the Pipe Roller Coaster. A...More

While the views in Revelstoke are all spectacular, we decided to use the gondola ride to see it all from a higher level. The gondola ride both up and back was comfortable and reasonably fast but in summer it only goes to the mid station,...More

We had a very spacious room (appartment) on the 3rd level overlooking the valley and the mountains. There is a variety of restaurants available.

If you stop in Revelstoke or are passing on the Trans-Canadian Highway, take a detour into the national park and drive up the mountain road. Park and either walk the last kilometer or get the shuttle bus to the summit. You will not be disappointed....More

Revelstoke is great. It doesn't have the quaint feel of some other Canadian ski resorts but it has a lot of positives. First, huge vertical drop. Runs go on for days and that's just sweet. Only 3 lifts. It's easy to get around and you'll...More

What a unique roller coaster! You catch a gondola to the top of Revelstoke mountain, then individually coast down in self controlled carts. You can control your own speed, and the course is about 1.6 k all down hill. Amazing. It's quiet an expensive roller...More

We spent around $35-40 for a ticket last year, but it was with breakfast buffet with unlimited gondola ride. They will give you a discount if you want to ride the 2nd time on the pipe! ;-)
