We were lucky to see the meadows in full bloom in mid-August last summer. The drive up the mountain offers fabulous panoramic views of Revelstoke but you can also hike your way up (we saw hiking paths) if you are extremely fit and not afraid...More

The road to the top is excellent, with lots of photo stops along the way. The road is lined with wild flowers on either side, and features excellent views of the valley. Plenty of opportunity for hiking here, just remember your water and sunscreen.

We drove to the top and did the hike to Jade Pass. Stunning views and the wildflowers were spectacular.

There's quite a long and windy drive up to the top....the views are wonderful, so you can't help stopping to look!

This drive is well worth the visit. Unfortunately, because it was later in the day we didn't do the last 1 km. hike to the overlook. But there are enough stops with wonderful views and vistas.

This is free in 2017. You can drive up close to the top of the mountain. The rest is covered by a shuttle that takes you 1 km to the summit. There is a summit trail too. It's not very hard. At the summit you...More

This is a scenic ride to a better viewpoint. If you are driving through the area, detour. If this is your destination, dawdle.

What a beautiful stunning hike! Bring bear bells/spray. Lake Miller was our favourite, a small oasis with islands and incredible mountains. It is worth it!

This is different from the gondola. it is a winding mountain road that takes one by car to the top of the mountain.

Sorry I dont know since I was there in August. There is a great Tourist Information office in the nearby town of Revelstoke. Maybe they can answer your question.

I went in October and there were some flowers still in bloom. I'm not too sure about August.
