Fire engines, and you can climb all over them. What's not to like?

This is a great spot, especially for kids. Lots to touch and lots to learn. Great for young and old alike.

This museum was great! As a family of four, it was inexpensive and had tons of stuff for us to see. Staff are there to answer questions if you have any, but they leave you to do your own exploring which was nice.

Being that my dad, grandfather and myself are firefighters this was definitely a very interesting museum to visit. A lot of history from fires that have taken place in Nova Scotia and old trucks/steamers dating back to the 1800's. One of the best museums I've seen yet!

Very interesting place to visit. We've been to car museums, but have never seen so many historical firetrucks and firefighting equipment in one place. We've seen the old pumpers in movies, but it's not like seeing them in person and trying to imagine what it was like to try to out a fire with one. While reading the plaques, I... More

On paper, I thought this museum would be boring, but it was not. they had old fire engines and pumpers, you could almost see the firefighters working the pump handles. Some of that equipment was really complex. They even had a wooden fire plug.

My father and husband are both fire fighters. I love going to see this museum. It is so perfect to see how the fire dept started and how it has developed over the years. The equipment is amazing and so perfect. The little store is great. We have been back several times. Great for all ages. However everything is accessible... More

Really interesting for both young and old. Lots of memories to re live and artifacts to enjoy! The best display of antique engines I've seen. Cost is so so cheap...the only complaint is the air quality of the old building, kind of musty or dusty smelling for those who might have breathing problems.

Lots to see. Very interesting to fellow fire fighters, paid or volunteer. Very nice pieces of equipment. A must to see when in Yarmouth.

Visited here with friends that came to visited from Massachusetts. The reason for the visit was that one of them was a firefighter. There were all sorts of badges from all sorts of different fire stations and some interesting facts from the area. There were also some old fire trucks to view and one that kids can sit on. It... This was a good small museum which housed a lo of fire trucks. Very detailed information and a whole range of photos and historic clips.
