Great signage, beautiful.

Cross country skied. Nicely groomed, tons of room. Very very straight. Friendly people too. And nicely protected from the wind. We saw mostly the trails around Collingwood.

Beautiful
Nov 2020
What a treasure this walking trail is for Collingwood. It's an easy walk with beautiful views of the water and lots of birdlife. There are benches for sitting, and you can pick up a pocket guide of the trails in the area at several places along the trail route. A definite must if in the area!

This amazing flat and well-kept trail was a few minutes from the Hotel we were in. Especially during the Autumn season, we had beautiful views!

Beautiful way to experience the shores of Georgian Bay
Sep 2020
The trails are beautiful for riding or walking. We stopped numerous times while allowing our dog a longer lead. it is a very relaxing way to experience the Georgian Bay shoreline from what was once a thriving ship building town. The town has over 60 km of interlinked trails and is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Serene, enjoyable, with warm sun on your face
Jun 2020
Walk along the shore of Georgian Bay and it's blue water enjoying the view and the warm sun upon your face. Listen to the birds singing and waves gently lapping against the shoreline.

My Daily gift to my Mind, Body & Spirit is to leisurely cycle the trails
Oct 2019
Since retiring to Collingwood in 2016, it has been one of my greatest pleasures to daily cycle the beautiful landscapes along the Georgian Trail and its many interesting side trails from mountain to shoreline. Nature 's welcome embraces you at every turn. Some days I peddle across town to Sunset Park via the shoreline trails, past the Inushtuk to stop a while and sit on one of the numerous benches with a delicious ice cream from the on site ice cream vendor. Other trips have included rides to Thornbury to the west with stops along the way such as taking g in the history of the area thanks to the Heritage Museum at Craigleith, to snap photos along the way and challenge these aging knees with a gradual grade incline and wind resistance past Georgian Peaks. There is always something interesting to explore and e experience along the trails but if I told you then that may rib you of some of your joy in the discovering. Welcome to Collingwood , Thornbury area along the wonderfull Georgian Trail it's yours to discover! Enjoy and please be respectful to leave nothing behind but your gratitude💕

Nice nature trail walk
Oct 2019 • Couples
I enjoyed walking this trail that went along the Collingwood Bay area. So very nice views of the water shorline and some wild life. Also on west side of trail some very nice trails in the natural forest, a labyrinth you can walk thru, and an Arboretum area. Only problem was we couldn't do the went end of Boardwalk path because that portion of the path was closed because of fire damage.
