Seventeen dollars will get you into the park to skate on the gorgeous picturesque 1.3km ice trail. Go early and go mid week. The trail is freshly cleared and treated by zamboni and the less people, the less chance of anyone seeing you fall on your butt. Oh wait, that was just me! Haha. Super fun!

We went to Arrowhead specifically for the skating trail and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The ice conditions were pretty good. It was a bit packed so parking was not the greatest but not too bad. There was a fire going and the kids had the chance to roast some marshmallows. Some of the skaters made me a little nervous and... More

Although a frigid day we spent the afternoon on the skating trail and did some downhill tubing. We came back the next day to do some snowshoeing. Variety of trails and activities to keep a couple or family busy. It holds a special place for us because I proposed to my then girlfriend on the skating trail.

This Provincial Park provided with several trails which are suitable for all ages. The sceneries are beautiful. Some outdoor activities, such as tubing, skating, country skiing, are also provided. The Park is well managed and the entry fee is reasonable.

Staying at Deerhurst resort, decided to go over to Arrowhead Park with the family, heard great things about the outdoor Ice trail, had to pay a fee to get into the park, no big deal, you pay for their services, and went to where the skating area. We arrive around 1.30 pm or so, very busy and it did snow... More

This park is about 2.5 hours from Toronto downtown. Came here with the BF to stay for the weekend. I wanted to come to this park to visit and skate in the famous ice skating trail they have. This park is absolutely huge. With many ski trails, snowshoeing , skating and tubing , there is something for everyone. Came here... More

This is a great all year park located just North of Huntsville. If you get a chance to skate on the out door ice trail do it a perfect Canadian moment.

This little provincial park is a gem tucked up against the giant, Algonquin. Great hiking trails, warm lake, good facilities. Winter is well represented with tobogganing, x-country skiing/snowshoeing trails and skating. Excellent value for money and only a few minutes outside of the town of Huntsville.
