If you just walked around the lighthouse you would be missing some interesting history. Our tour guide was great and make the history come alive. Appeals to kids and adults alike. Very affordable too.

In July and August, the “Phantom Piper” plays down the sun from the top of the lighthouse. Best view is from the adjacent bridge, and at the north end of the bridge is a rock with a plaque explaining the legend. Great tourist draw!

This is a good little lighthouse. Close to the beach, pier, park, playground and a short walk to downtown.

Take a trip to this lovely town. Nice restaurants and the lighthouse is pretty cool as well. I would recommend coming here.

Have been here in the past. In addition to its historical interest interest is enhanced by being at the marina and having the ability to walk out on the pier. Winter surfing is fun to watch from this spot.
