Driven past several times and finally went in - very nice park land area very scenic - but there are nice parks and trails all over Kitchener Waterloo - the historic home is a nice period piece and interesting, but nothing special. Those working there...More

It is better to visit this place during the Christmas season when the inside is open for tours, but the grounds are still pretty nice to visit, with as much history as is pertinent to the man and the house.

Visited with our children. Interesting to see how our Premier lived when he was a child. Well kept building great grounds for photos. Worth a visit.

Touring each of the rooms, looking at the unique furniture, china displays, larder cupboards, wallpaper coverings, wonderful antiques, pot-bellied stoves, old framed photos, etc., I feel as though I have gone...More

We were there for an evening visit just before Christmas and the house was lovely! Such a grand and elegant place - I would love to live there. As an added feature, there was a gentleman outside roasting chestnuts over an over campfire for us...More

Even if it were open, and it's usually closed, there's really only one building to see and it wouldn't take long. Be careful of poison ivy on the property.
