A regular place to visit for my family and I. A perfect spot for hiking with the dogs as they can get a swim in along the way. This is also a fun spot to spend a hot summer day as there is a deep swimming hole that can be found!

The Owen Sound area is blessed with a number of falls, each splendid and enchanting. We take all of our US guests for a day trip to see them all and they are always a hit.

Another great discovery in the Owen Sound area! Indian Falls is a gorgeous bridal veil waterfall, which reminded me of Devil's Punchbowl in Hamilton when I first saw it. There was quite a good flow when we visited. The view from the gorge itself is beautiful. Before you get to the falls, you have to hike just under a kilometer... More

Having hiked to most of the waterfalls in Grey County over the past year, Indian Falls was the last on our list. The falls are located in the Indian Falls Conservation Area, located north of Owen Sound on County Road 1. It's less than a short 10 minute drive from town. There is amble parking and washrooms. although the washrooms... More

I've done this short trail and taken in the breathtaking views many times when I lived in the area, but long before that we would take it in on some of our short visits. It's well worth the time. Although not truly accessible, you can hike it without being a young, fit, and avid hiker. By staying on the top... More

After a 700 meter rugged hike, you are presented with a great view of the falls in Indian Falls Conservation area north west of Owen Sound Ontario. Since the area has had a good quantity of rain, the falls was flowing. Nice hike in along the river even though walking was a bit troublesome at times. Fall colours are starting... More

The trail to Indian Falls is challenging and not for anyone with mobility issues. It is a lovely spot and worth the hike!

I did this one today and thought it was very good. Watch out for tree roots but otherwise a short hike back. Very quiet this time of year so you are not rushed.
