As someone else noted, this is a needed lung space. It has a small lake, walking paths, zoo (bit of a stretch), and sports fields. The LRT passes directly by it.

Unfortunately the area with enclosed animals (donkey, lama, pigs) wasn't as good as in previous visits. Less animals and birds?

Excellent park the middle of a bustling city. Lots of nature, trails, and a small animal farm. Best place locally to bring the kids for a day in the park.

Waterloo park is beside Silver Lake. It is not part of the Grand River, so there are no "rapids" at the park.
