great for dog walking, sun loving, shade seeking, cross country skiing, biking The uneven terrain makes this park so interesting. We found a creek, sat in the afternoon sun, enjoyed the pavilion, watched kids on bikes. At Christmas time, they put on a light show at night, very fun to take the kids to. Simply a pleasure.

Love this place, worth a walk around. Small zoo, silver lake where many carp are visible throughout the year. Tons of activities going on throughout the summer.

What a pleasant surprise. We were in Waterloo for a conference, staying at the Delta on Erb Street West. I had no idea this park was so close until I went for a morning walk and happened upon the start of the walk around the lake that is the focal point of this area. Taking about 20 minutes, I walked... Although in the middle of the city, It helps to get my green shot and relax. I enjoy spending time alone, with friends or my dog. Weekends on good weather are very busy, otherwise very much recommended for short escape ...

As a young child, I loved this place! Llamas, big swings, swans, I couldn't get enough. Now going back, it is less spectacular and more just a day in the park. Sure the playgrounds are cool and the little ones love the animals, but it seems that the city of Waterloo, like I, sort of forgot this park is there.... More

Waterloo Park really does have a little but of everything, enough to keep little ones entertained for hours without being bored. From the zoo, playground right down to the boardwalk that takes you into uptown Waterloo. Lots of public washrooms and the splash pad in the summer months.

This is a great place for a walk or to catch up with friends. There is a food stand and they often host events (i.e. movie screenings). The park is very clean, although there tend to be a lot of geese and ducks.

Love the park for my 2 year old grandson, so much to see with the animals and the waterpark is one of his favorite places to go.

Really like this park. Lots of space to set up and have a family picnic and play games out in the fields. They have a couple different play structures for kids, trails to follow and see the animals like peacocks, goats, donkey, lamas, miniature horses, pigs. There is a nice board walk around the water and gazebos to sit and... More
