I took my young son here to enjoy the sand and water. Unfortunately, the sand here is very very rocky and multiple people were bitten by leeches while swimming in the water.

The main attraction of this place must be the many trails that one can explore on bike or on foot. To me this is a place to visit is early to late summer as it can be a wet and muddy experience otherwise.
