Make sure you go on a sunny day to fully appreciate the gorgeous views of Canmore from the summit. Difficulty is between beginner to intermediate.

I've hiked this peak several times with my kids. The trail is well marked and well maintained, but you will still get a great cardio work out on your way to the top. The stunning views of Canmore and the sheer drop of Ha Ling...More

A good little climb, well marked paths and well maintained. Great views from the top but you share with a lot of people. Best time to go is early in the morning before its gets crazy busy.

The walk was easy to navigate, the climb steady, and the view spectacular. There was a slight breeze at the top, and the day was sunny. I would caution being on the top during foul weather.

Is this trail open now? Is there a lot of snow on the ground? Planning to be in Canmore early Fri afternoon. Someone mentioned this hike would take approximately 2 hours if you're in shape. Aiming to do more of a mix of trail running and fast hiking; feasible?
