We had a day to spend in Hinton, so we decided to do some hiking around the area. We found this location and enjoyed the hike/walk around the Boardwalk in late May. It was mid morning, warm, sunny, and an excellent place to spend some...More

Unfortunately when we were there the beaver dam was breached to a couple of ponds were draining. We did see one beaver. The walk itself was quite nice and easy and passes through several different wetland habitats.

While we didn't see a beaver we saw lots of different birds, great views in the different marsh and ponds. The lighting was amazing. Would definitely go back if in the area

Grest walks of various lengths with lots of observation spots. When we were ther a beaver dam had given way and the system water level was decreaseing - big talking point in the community. Looking forward to coming back again

Hello, we are stopping in hinton around 7/8am at the end of June and would love to catch this treat of a trail. Can you let me know how long the trail is? How much time would it take to see some of the really beautiful areas? We would have about an hour available to us.

Early morning is nice on the boardwalk and you can spend as little as 15 minutes to a few hours exploring the area.
