We kayak the lake a lot.....stay along the shores and you will be fine as speed. boats, as in every lake, do NOT care.

Love Osoyoos lake.....does not get windy like the bigger lakes. The lake has great access at many different location from the Provincial Park at the South end or near the boat launch in the vicinity of the waterfront hotel. Lots of clean benches and sand to enjoy your day

This is the warmest lake in all of Canada. There are many good campsites in and around the town all with good or superb access to the lake. Although not a fisherman myself I understand there is abundant fishing in this lake. Beaches slope gently into the water so there is lots of places to play in the water for... More

Absolutely gorgeous location; warm water lake. Plenty of rental places around for fishing gear or even boat rentals.

This warm lake is the perfect place to enjoy on a hot Okanagan Valley summer day. There is lots of sand, grassy areas and shady areas. All kinds of single & family events can be enjoyed. As well, the lake has a great walking trail alongside it, which is always well used. One of our favourite places to spend some... More

Walked from the Spirit Ridge to Main St. and the walk to get to the Lake was a beautiful experience. Short but beautiful. As I was there in the off-season in Winter, most attractions along the way was closed but still beautiful nonetheless. The best way I could describe my time walking into town was a calm disconnect.

We had a quick walk along this lake as it was a cold and gloomy day. We were still able to appreciate the beauty of this lake regardless of the weather!

We visited on the way to other places, so we were only there a night. The lake itself was stunning, and the Watermark hotel where we stayed was lovely. There is a nice beach along the lake, and evidence of a healthy spawning salmon population was obvious in the lake. This is definitely a good low key vacation spot with... More
