We did the Quarry Rock trail in Deep Cove & it was a wonderful quick hike. The whole Deep Cove area is beautiful & only about 30 minutes from Vancouver. The area had parking for the trail head & a public restroom too.

Deep Cove is a regular area I visit to take in the peaceful water away from the hustle and bustle downtown beaches offer. A short bus ride on the 211 from Burrard Station takes you into the heart of Deep Cove or the 212 from...More

Great family Picnic area. We even take our small dog although technically they shouldn't be on the beach, just keep them leashed. Nice playground for the kids and a concession for food and ice cream.

Spent a wonderful day there. First strolled down the street full of nice little coffee shops, restaurants, ice-cream shops, souvenir stores etc. Then walked along the water front. And at the end climbed the Quarry Rock. Next time want to go for kayaking.

Yes absolutely! Quite a few people bring their dogs and some bring a baby. Easier if you have a back pack type carrier!
