Visited Capilano River Park on a very rainy day and late in the evening, therefore didn’t get a chance to check out the hatchery nor any of the trails. But having seen the dam, I’m sure I’ll be back here to see more! Very easy...More

Lovely peaceful trails up to the fascinating salmon fishery and Cleveland dam. Combine with a trip to Capilano Bridge.

You truly will enjoy the walk/hike here. Very well groomed and maintained. Just don’t stay in the trails too late, because of the tree cover it gets dark earlier than outside. Be sure to go down beside the damn and take some stunning pictures.

When we visited most of the dam was covered in scaffolding and fencing and it was impossible to look over the side to see how high it was. A shame as I had been looking forward to seeing the Dam from Smallville, etc. However you...More

Cleveland Dam is a short drive up Capilano Road to a place that is green, parking is easy and a view of the top of the dam. It's a splendid setting to appreciate the Great West Coast mountains, gorges and rivers. It's a quiet place...More

Cleveland Dam is located close to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, so it is worthwhile adding to your trip if you have come this far. The Dam was undergoing maintenance when we visited, so there were workers and scaffolding and numerous other impediments, so perhaps...More

Was told this wa sa must see but to be honest - there wasn't much to look at !! Just a concrete dam and some workmen. Perhaps - if I had more time to explore the other side there may have been some better views.

I believe there are some bus stops but I too had a rental car, it's literally 4 minutes from the bridge, but what a sight. I think a taxi can take you there, it's truly on the same road 4-5 minutes
