What a beautiful place to spend a summer day! We had initially anticipated going to Capilano but it is so expensive there, that Lynn Canyon was our "free" option. It has beautiful trails, a suspension bridge, and a great little café/bar to quench your thirst...More

Liked: Well marked trails. Beautiful scenery. Disliked: The amount of people stopped on the bridge. (We went on a hot Sunday afternoon. It would be less busy any other time.)

I went to Lynn Canyon Park with a friend who lives in the neighbourhood. It's a beautiful place to walk through as we came across a variety of scenery. One minute we'd be walking through a dense forest with tall lush tress and the next...More

The Park has different hiking trails and all are quite easy. My 4-years old daughter finished the 5km trail to the rice lake. The rice lake is very small while the view is average. But the suspension bridge and the foot pool are lots of...More

Great place to take a nature walk, an average hike or if your a thrill seeker try out the cliffs or the famous "waterslide" which is known for injury's and very rarely a death.

We caught a bus from the Lynn Valley centre and disembarked a block or two away. It was a pleasant walk to the suspension bridge and in the park itself. Many visitors were there but you did not feel crowded and could walk at you...More

Ever since arriving in Canada in 1974, this has been one of my favourite places to visit. Whenever we have visitors from out-of-town, we always take them here. The ecology centre is worth an hour's visit and of course the bridge-crossing is a must.

Last day in vancouver and decided to take our two young boys ( 5&8) to lynn canyon park. It was a fantastic hiking trip for the four of us, a smaller version of the Capilano suspended bridge, and massive greens. The water fall was stunning,...More

Mosquitos are seldom a problem in Vancouver as there is cold running water and/or salt water, unless you are hiking in a solid bush and the trails in Lynn Canyon are well cleared.

I have been across a few times with my grandkids when they were this age or younger. Nothing to worry about though you would want to stay close to them when crossing.
