Truely amazing views and the only way to get up to the peak,of Grouse Mountain. I highly recommend this activity, it has been a trip highlight.

Pay for parking, pay a lot of money to get to the top. Pretty average tourist activities. Poorly designed 'chalet' doesn't even have a viewing point to see across the city - came up for the views and there wasn't one.

By far the easiest way to access Grouse Mountain is by the cable car. It is serviced by the 236 bus or the free shuttle from downtown. It was about a ten minute trip up and the views were excellent. Behind us was the Vancouver...More

So we decided to head up to grouse mountain and i must say that it was beautiful. Even the skyride was great. On the last day of may there was still plenty of snow as well as fog. It was picturesque but not cold i.m.o.

Great trip up the mountain. Views are amazing and the bonus was seeing the Grizzly bears. Worth the upgrade to get the ski lift ride to the top. Catch the free bus from Canada Place and if you want you can buy a ticket at...More

This is a much better way for families with young children to get to the top of Grouse Mountain than trying to hike up the challenging Grouse Grind. There are family friendly hikes in this alpine setting once you exit the sky ride.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I only have 1 day in vancouver. Should I do grouse mountain or capilano? Is there public transport or a shuttle between them as they only appear to be about 5 miles apart?

both are on the same road one mile apart, so it would be possible to do both. I would guess one 1 1/2 hours for the bridge and 3 hours for the mountain. enjoy

Businesses don't advertise military pricing in Canada like you see in the states, but if you ask they may have a concession rate.
