Beautiful walk

Great way to kill some time. Went for a nice walk along the water. Got to watch fishing boats coming and going. Watched the sea lions.

Both of our visits to Steveston included a walk out to the point. Plenty of bird life, passing shipping traffic and other strollers. Lots of opportunities fro great photos, as well.

If you're visiting Steveston, you should definitely make a visit out to Garry Point Park. From the Cannery, the park is about a 10-minute stroll. The park offers beautiful views of Steveston Harbour, the ships docked nearby Fisherman's Wharf and of course, the mountains in the background. As such, you should definitely bring your camera along. As I made my... More

This is a lovely park at the west end of Chatham St. in Steveston. It has paved walking paths around a small lake. There are wonderful views across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. A great place for a walk, flying kites ( yes it is almost always breezy), or just sitting on the benches enjoying the view. For... More

Located at the SW corner of Richmond, it's a 75 acre waterfront park that provides ground for jogging, biking, walking, kite flying, or doing nothing. Paved trails throughout the park and a complete circle is about 1 km, benches for your relaxation. Ample parking at its entrance. Public bathrooms and concession next to parking. The northern section connects to the... More

This is where you want to enjoy a peaceful Sunday afternoon or a weekday nightfall after busy working. Thank God we still have such a patch of paradise along the beach. Come and ride your bicycle and breath the fresh air with a cup of coffee. That will kindle the fire in your heart, no matter in winter or summer.

Whether you are interested in the history of the area, views out to Vancouver Island, flying a kite or watching the industrial marine and fishing boat traffic, this is a wonderful place. There is a gravel path around the perimeter that is an easy walk for most people. A small amount of concrete paving at the East end of the... More

Took a nice walk around Garry Point Park while my family went skating on the field. Yes on the field. Heard the firemen flooded the field during the winter break. Great family fun. I enjoyed the picturesque Fraser River and the boats. Good walking paths for dogs and people. Lots of parking. FYI for Pokemon players: lots of poke stops... More
