Lovely park where the squirrels almost talk to you. Bigger than you might imagine. Beautiful, scenic church, ballpark where parents roasted a pig on a spit while the kids played baseball. Nice lake and walks. Worth a visit or two.

Love visiting this park when I'm over nighting for trips in/out of Vancouver. Always try to stay near this area. Great little park with a pond, lots of squirrels, birds and blossoms and blooms.

At this point, the Minoru area is under construction and really not terribly accessible. The plan for the future is positive. So, until summer has arrived, the visit to the Park should not be on your agenda.

Actually, don't feed the squirrels, but Minoru Park is the only place where I have ever seen black squirrels and if you've never seen them before, it's quite unique! The park itself is beautiful - gorgeous flowers, water features and leisurely walks around the pond...More

MINoru Park, for all its sculptured and manicured artifice [English/Japanese style] is always good for a walk and time to relax. Different seasons give different blossoms and colours. The 'wildlife' is ever present and can range from the ubiquitous bunnies and squirrels that please children...More
