Had the best time 6hrs saw humpback whales, orca pods breaching, sand sea lions. Wasn't the best weather but we enjoyed it.

Went on a whale watch on August 9th and had a 5 star experience. Capt. Bruce does a great job of hosting with tons of relevant info. Totally private and personal experience vs. the large tour companies. Amazing vistas, perfect weather and close-up views of the whales Bruce put us right on. Bonus sightings of eagles, sea lions, porpoise, otters... More

Captain Bruce is very personable and knowledgeable and set up a wonderful day touring the Gulf Islands to celebrate my birthday. He tailored the tour to our interests, stopped at a great picnic spot for lunch and pointed out interesting natural and cultural spots all along the way. I would definitely recommend a day out with Steveston EcoTours.

We booked this tour at the Tourist Office on Cordova Street in Vancouver. You will be picked up from one of many different locations around Vancouver and taken down to the departure point in Steveston. It is approx. 30 mins away but you have the opportunity of seeing some of the outlying areas. Everyone involved with Steveston Eco tours seem... More

I brought a group of folks with disabilities on the Sea Lion Safari and they loved it. Owner / operator Bruce was well informed about the area and the wildlife that live there.

Got the last Sea Lion trip of the year at the end of May. What a perfect trip! Had relatives in from the prairies and they totally enjoyed it as they've rarely been on the ocean. The length of the trip was perfect as well, as it can easily be fit in a morning or afternoon. The boat is a... More

Our Sea Lion Safaris are a special, seasonal treat, only available (with the Sea Lions!) in April and may each year. There is still lots to see on our Gulf Islands Adventures and our Fraser rRver Discovery Tours, each of which make a great summer trip! More

My girlfriend and I had a great time. Captain Bruce knew a lot about all the different species of animals we saw. There were a lot of sea lions and otters out and about that day. We also had the chance to see a family of Bald Eagles in their nest with a suspected newborn. Definitely would go again next... More

Our family really enjoyed this tour. Bruce the captain was a super nice guy, fun to talk to and made us feel really comfortable. He's really knowledgeable too. Our almost 2-year-old daughter loved the tour. We live locally in Steveston and super close. Had no idea that there were so many Sea Lions and seals close to us. It's just... More

This was an amazing experience. They guaranteed us a sighting and if we did not see a whale they would reimburse us or they would take us out again. It was amazing to see Orcas in their natural habitat. I would suggest Eco Tours to anyone who is looking for an adventure and love wildlife.

Bruce was amazing and very informative. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend everyone to go see these beautiful giants. Wish I could have swam with them.

Our EcoTours really focus on respectful marine wildlife viewing. We don't want to disturb the animals and birds we see; we're there to observe their natural behaviour, and to learn about their habits. Viewing wildlife in the wild is unpredictable, but special for that very reason! More
