The most beautiful palace and park complex in Crimea is located in the city of Alupka.
This is probably the richest palace on the peninsula.
Almost everything is impressive here - monumental buildings built in architectural styles that combine Moorish traditions characteristic of the peninsula and English motifs.
The complex fits perfectly into the surrounding nature. The peaks of Mount Ai-Petri are visible from the territory of the palace.
The rich decoration of the interior halls of the palace is striking. Each of them is designed in its own style.
I really like the marble staircase that leads to the sea. At its foot there are sleeping lions made of marble, a little higher the lions are depicted waking up, and at the very top of the stairs they are already getting up.
Unfortunately, these sculptures are fenced, and it is not possible to take a beautiful photo.
Definitely worth visiting this place in the summer when there are many flower beds around.

Definitely should be visited during your stay in Crimea, a breathtaking confluence of Gothic and Oriental architecture on the exterior and original 19th century paintings, furniture and decorations in the interior. I recommend taking a gude since both the palace and it's original owning family have a long and interesting story you don't want to miss while visiting.

It's one of the most popupar palaces in Crimea. It's a combination of two styles: English Renaissance revival and eastern mosque-like facade from the southern entrance.
The idea of the architect was to build the palace in a very natural style so it will look more beautiful with a combination of nature around it.

It's very beautiful place to visit and have a walk. Take a tour of the palace! A lot of interesting things about Vorontsov family. Park is amazing even in February. Parking is 300 rubles per car unlimited time.

A very beautiful palace, well-reconstructed atmosphere and charming excursion (don't hesitate to take an audio guide, not very comfortable, but informative: to pause, push "play" button, otherwise you re-listen aaaalll the long story). One of the most impressive castles i saw in Europe

This is a first palace I had seen in my life. I lived close by, thus as a child was able to go almost every week or when pleased. The place was in much better shape and it was shown more in late 70 early 80th than let say 20 years later. For example, I remember not only visiting library ( which is a separate building) but also holding some books ( I did not read at that time , it was before entering school) with gold covered edges. I think some furniture either aged and got replaced with lesser valuable but 4 years ago palace had no beautiful floor and stunning chick look as before. There were peacocks, walking in the park, white swans and sturgeons in a big lake. All these beauty was gradually gone despite of enormous efforts of stuff to protect this unique place.
The lions probably are not covered for winter and there are a lot of cracks in their gorgeous marble bodies. Yet, they are way better then well known Barcelona's counterparts. Regardless the fact that under Ukrainian government palace deteriorated every time we are in Crimea it is a MUST visit!
