Beautiful scenery, refreshing, not too difficult. It can be a wonderful trip with very tough bits, but also you can do day walks, as I did. The birds, the plants are all wonderful

We had the best walk here - there's a lot of uphill but it was super lovely and enjoyable! You can go for four hours or for just one or two and turn back when you want! Highly recommended!

It's a bit steep, but it's worth the effort. The scenery is second to none. The luscious vegetation and the fresh mountain air, the distant view of the sea — it's all there.

Great views. The track was in pretty good shape despite recent rains in the area. Pools are spotlessly clear and fresh

We did the 1 hour walk to Whites Beach, this can be done as a side trip on the Hillary Trail or accessed via Anawhata Road. The beach itself is similar to many on the west coast of the country however the fact that it...More
