If the gardens are this beautiful at the end of September, they must be worth a monthly visit throughout the season. We had a wondrous afternoon wandering through the varied areas, finding plants that in decades of gardening we had not seen before. Watching hens...More

We were visiting friends in N Yorkshire and they took us here, not knowing what to expect. We headed straight for the Tea room which was delightful. Tastefully decorated, bright and beautiful! The homemade cakes were the best! We then walked around the gardens for...More

This place is beautiful. We visited the nursery, walked all around the gardens, looked at plants for sale and went into the cafe. It was enchanting from start to finish: a 'piece of England' tucked away and waiting to be explored. The cafe was a...More

Visited these gardens at the start of September because they were part of the Gardener's World magazine 2-for-1 admission offer, and what a happy discovery it was! We enjoyed the relaxed English country garden feel to the property, with various different areas of interest, and...More

This organic and informal garden is delightful and overflowing with charm. The fact that it wasn't over manicured meant that my daughters and myself were treated to sights that included numerous bees, butterflies, birds, a mouse or two in the wooded areas and day old...More

After seeing a recommendation in "The England Garden" magazine we thought we would take the 45 mile trip to see it. What an absolute gem of a garden. It was so worth the trip. The lady who owns the garden and her husband could not...More

We visited this garden on the recommendation of friends, and were not disappointed. A beautiful garden, packed full of a whole variety of interesting plants, plus willow sculptures. The garden is divided into several areas and we loved the natural planting and emphasis on supporting...More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are obviously disappointed that your visit was unacceptable. Whilst we appreciate the convenience of being able to pay for everything by card, we are a micro-business and are charged significant fees for every transaction,...More

I can't honestly recall seeing any, nor any notices, but owner was lovely and friendly, I'd suggest phone ahead and ask. Would need a lead, so many wild areas they are preserving beautifully.

I think the safest bet is to check Stillingfleet Gardens' website - will definitely save a wasted journey; but if you've not been before well worth a visit.
