Those were the days.

Next time will take my husband. A must to visit for the kids and a trip back to your younger days for all the others.

To drive through Dannevirke and not to visit the Fantasy Cave would be a major crime. the lovely volunteers have put hours upon hours setting this up. Every year I go through the Cave I m amazed at what has been done. Trains, Crystal Castle, Jack and the beanstalk (giant) and so much more. During the Christmas period there is... More

This is a must see for children of all ages and adults as well. A fabulous fantasy world of everything you can imagine from Fairy tales to Nursery Rhymes - Cinderella to Peter the Pumpkin eater. Even a tiny Dannevirke town with a real model railway train track!! All made with love and devotion by a special group of volunteers.... More

A real 'wonderland'. Take the kids or go on your own as adults can wonder at the work that has gone into creating the displays. Very clever work from a very committed community.

Our 18 month old daughter loved it! Especially the trains, Fairies and Old Mcdonalds Farm. Was cool to see Santa there and was bigger then expected. Only downfall was the lady who was trying to tell us what somethings were instead of just letting us take our time and explore; made us feel rushed however I think she was just... More

The Fantasy Cave is part Disneyland, part museum of fairy stories and part magical craft exhibition. From the first step inside you are in a different, beautiful world. You walk through the three or four levels of Fantasy Cave and are taken through loads of different sites and stories. The kids absolutely adore it and you will be so impressed... More
