The $54 Gondola ride is pricey, but really worth it once you get to the first stop observation deck to see the amazing view of Lake Tahoe and its surroundings. Remember to get off at the observation deck on the way to the top as you will not be able to stop on your way back. Take your time to... More

We used this to go up for the view in the summer which I think on its own would be rather expensive. We also went up to the activities in the summer for which there was an additional charge-the children loved it. This winter we used the gondola to go skiing. The staff at the top and bottom were very... More

We were taking the gondola ride to take in the views from the observation deck. As we were not skiing the price is ludicrous at $52 per person. The view when we managed to get visibility is spectacular. Is it worth that price though ? There are no alternative ways other than using the pullouts on the way into town... More

We loved riding up the mountain on the Gondola. It gives you beautiful views. And it is available for skiers and non-skiers! At the top you can have a drink or something to eat and listen to the band playing.

We visited Heavenly for a spring break ski trip this year and had a blast on the hill. Our incredibly wet winter and spring provided awesome conditions. Our only disappointment was the cost for non-skiers to ride the gondola up to Tamarack lodge--$52 with no discount for multiple day skiing family or any other discounts i.e. AAA or military etc.... I would definitely recommend riding the gondola whether you are skiing or not... It is a beautiful ride and view. You can get off at the observation deck and walk around, take pics, have a snack and even do a little shopping at the gift shop! We had ski passes so we did not have to buy a ticket just... More

Beautiful views. Pretty pricey, but I'm glad we splurged. Some of the gondola cubes had a bad smell so we changed in the middle of the ride. The look out stop was great, would be nice to visit in the summer as well

If you are not skiing or snowboarding it is a bit costly for a ride up and down the mountain. That being said, the views of the mountains and Lake Tahoe are beautiful.

The gondola at Heavenly is one of the coolest thing you can do on a vacation. Going up the side of a mountain with expansive views of the lake is something hat I'll never forget.
