Very nice walk, easy access, free to visit and park. Traffic is a bit much on the highway so expect a slow drive there.

Home is well preserved on lovely lakeside setting. Only a little of the interior is visible but interesting to see.

Tallac Historic Site is pleasant locale by the lake, and a glimpse of history, and the way very-rich of the early 20th century lived. Level ground made for an easy walk and the exhibits are interesting.

Nice cool walk along the shore, looking at historical building and gardens. We have done both walking and bicycles, but prefer bicycles, because there are many sites spread out which you will wish to see.

Beautiful and peaceful. You can hike here from the Tallac Visitors Center. Pack a picnic and enjoy the grounds.

I came upon this site, by chance, as I was bicycling around the Lake. What a nice interlude. A piece of early 20th century history was quite a pleasant surprise.
