I highly recommend you bring your children to Kilcullen to see the farm and fairy trail. It is a great environment for children and great fun to see the nature,Kilcullens work, and the fairy doors this is from a nine year olds perspective but I’m sure any age group will enjoy it 😀

Free entry into a nice walk with kids. Small amount of animals including chickens, pigs and sheep. Situated in the middle of Kilcullen town. A nice place to spend an hour or 2

Perfect for young kids, this encompasses a lovely walk by the Liffey through lovely working gardens and the farm. Located behind An Tearmann just off Kilcullen Main st, you can enjoy a snack in the coffee shop and also hop across the road to the Kilcullen Fairy Trail on the other side of the bridge behind the Credit Union. Perfect couple of hours for toddlers, pre-schoolers and young kids. Lovely amenity to have in Kilcullen

This is part of a venture set up by the Camphill communities of Ireland, a charitable venture which supports people with leaning difficulties. Located to the rear of the Ann Tearmann café on Main Street (part of the same venture), it provides accommodation, arable and livestock farming activities, a food market and various other artisan ventures. There is a lovely free nature trail in the grounds which is highly recommended. It takes you past numerous vegetable and fruit crops and all manner of farm animals. There are excellent information boards throughout the trail explaining about the animals and crops. The walk takes a leisurely 30/40 minutes including lovely views of the River Liffey and there are plenty of places to sit and relax on the trail.
A wonderful community venture worth supporting.

Visited this nature trail recently. Amazing place, really back to nature. All farm animals in natural habitat. Fresh fruit and vegetables abound. River Liffy flowing beside it really adds to enjoyment.

There is no cost to visit this nature trail, it is used daily in the town and being in the center of kilcullen is easy to access, it is apart of the Bridge camphill community (a residential center for people with disabilities) and is used to bridge a gap between the community and the town.
