Maltfield Stud Riding School & Livery Yard offers both children and adults horse riding instruction, forest trail riding and beach rides. Located 35 mins drive from Dublin and 15 mins drive from Wicklow town, Maltfield Stud is one of Wicklows longest established approved equestrian centres. Recommended by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments, it offers qualified instruction within a friendly and safety conscious environment. Childrens hourly group trek/lesson from 25 euro Adults hourly group trek/lesson from 35 euro 2 hour Beach rides from 75 euro (Experienced riders only) Childrens pony camps run during July/August .Cost 125 euro per child, Mon to Fri 10am to 1 pm. Early booking is essential. Hats, back protectors and boots supplied.

Enjoyed a morning of horse riding at Maltfield Stud. The owner was friend and knowledgeable, and it was an overall very pleasant experience.

Maltfield Stud has it all - it's an excellent AIRE approved riding facility that provides professional riding experiences to cater for all your/family needs. Group and private riding lessons are available on a daily/weekly basis in Maltfield's ample arena, countryside and seaside hacks are bookable throughout the year and the ever popular week-long children's riding camp's are scheduled in summer/spring and autumn. Maltfield Stud is nestled in the heart of the the Redcross countryside with stunning views of the Wicklow Mountains as a backdrop. After four years of riding lessons at Maltfield I cannot recommend it enough!

I have ridden at this yard for over four years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Whether it's fun for all the family or you're looking for the perfect yard for yourself and your horse, Maltfield Stud is the place to go! Nestled in the fabulous countryside of Redcross. It's very easy to get to, with beautiful hacking and an all weather flood lit arena. They cater for all levels and a variety of disciplines including show jumping, dressage and leisure riding! I cannot recommend Maltfield Stud Riding School enough.

Just had an amazing day out riding in the forest, On a happy well behaved horse. Wonderful scenery, with great company and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The riding centre is very safety conscious, providing back protectors, hats and boots if needed. stayed on with my friend to watch the start of a group kids lesson, were they seemed to be having a lot
of fun. A good day out which I would happily recommend.
