Mesmerising, breath-taking, amazing, awesome - just some of the words our visitors use when they talk about RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Around a quarter-of-a-million seabirds - including gannets, puffins, kittiwakes and razorbills - flock here in spring and summer to raise their family. Six, cliff top viewpoints give spectacular views of the nesting seabirds and the dramatic coastline. The new seabird centre at the heart of the reserve tells the story of the wildlife on the cliffs and why it makes it home here.

In autumn and winter, when mists fall and winds blow, a clifftop walk can be a truly experience.

RSPB Bempton Cliffs - one of the truly unmissable British wildlife spectacles.

We really enjoyed our visit to Bempton Cliffs, which has some of the best coastal views in the area. The RSPB have really done a good job with the facilities they have provided - great look out points; well maintained footpaths; excellent information boards about the many different birds & a great visitors centre, with a small café. It was... More

Great views, whatever time of year. Crowded with Gannets and Puffins on the cliffs where they return for breeding season. Many visiting migrating birds may be seen, as they stop off at the cliffs in Autumn, on route to warmer climates for the Winter. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful R.S.P.B staff available until 17.00. Since the path and viewing area have... More

If you are looking for adventure in combination with a nice scenery then you are in the correct place in the RSPB Bempton Cliffs. We spent the whole afternoon in this bird sanctuary, and although the time of year was not ideal for viewing as the support stuff mentioned  we were amazed that we still have the chance to... More

Always a great place to have a walk along the cliff top at any time. However, it's best to go in spring when all the sea birds are there to breed. This is a place that everyone should experience.

Lovely walk along the cliff tops with viewing points dotted along was windy so wrap up. Told by one of the RSPB Helpers that the best time to visit is May,June as the Puffins are around then.

Having last seen Bempton 15 years ago I was staggered by the improvements made - gone are the days of trudging through mud to rather dangerous looking cliff tops. The car park is next to an excellent visitor centre which caters for school parties and educational visits as well as having a shop for tourists and the more serious visitor.... More

Beautiful place to visit. Great if you can spot unusual birds too. Lovely place to take the kids to see some nature.

Hello there - it has been a great autumn for unusual birds. We had a rare Eastern Crowned Warbler here (only the fourth time it had been spotted in Britain) and a massively off-course, Black-browed Albatross. Who knows what will arrive next. We can't wait. More
