My 4 years old totally love it!

A small but cozy place with hands on experience with the insects. Well managed. Definitely worth a visit

Lots of interesting insects and reptiles, some you can hold (not the spiders, though). The staff was very knowledgeable, the atmosphere calm and not a lot of people around. Loved the butterfly area! Would recommend if you like insects and lizards.

Fun hour, lots of hands on with a variety of lizards and insects, including a really cool butterfly garden with hatching giant Atlas moths. We went as an adult couple and had fun, but it would also be great for kids.

We went to entertainour toddler, but I'm certain my 36 year old enjoyed it most of all! The staff are great - our guide spoke English and accompanied us through all of the interactive exhibits. Go early before the crowds arrive - much more enjoyable that way!

We spent three hours at the insect zoo and enjoyed all of it. Exhibits are good and well-designed, but the highlight is being able to handle lots of insects and some reptiles. We were able to hold mantis, stick insects, a tarantula and even a scorpion! Completely safely, of course. The staff were friendly and clearly cared for the animals.... More

This is about my 4th visit over the last 5 years & I enjoy it every time I go there. Really interesting, some of the insects are really beautiful and I am amazed at the size of some of them. You do get the opportunity to hold some of them, including scorpions, if you are brave enough. Well worth a... More

My daughters (aged 12 and 8) were keen to visit, and as we passed it during an outing we decided to go in. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise which we all loved. After browsing by ourselves though the museum section, the terrariums containing species of tarantulas, and the butterfly garden, we were picked up by one of... More

This is quite a small park and we found the entrance fee to be quite high in comparison. There were not a huge number of butterflies to see and only a few other animals. We were disappointed to learn that the scorpions and lizards were being bred to be sold as pets and were in tiny containers.

We both have a keen interest in entomology, so when we were able to see many of the orders and families on display -both pinned and live versions... we were very happy. You get what you pay for, it's a great display and the interactive aspect where staff help you handle the creatures
