Visited a few months ago with my 5 year old niece. Arrived early and we were the only ones there - the owner was really friendly and great with my niece taking her through everything. He said there wasn't as many butterflies as he would...More

Arriving early for Our bird of prey experience, we noticed the butterflies centre was door, we decided to have a look. As a very hot day we could only stay in there a short a mount of time. Plus side is you can enter and...More

Had a look online for places close to home and stumpled across this little gem. With its own website on opening times and entry fee and location. Situated near Wyevale garden centre, formerly Cadbury's. This little gem is found situated in a conservatory showroom. Just...More

We had a very pleasant hour or so here, with our granddaughter in tow. The owner was attentive and helpful with information about the butterflies. There aren't that many but we enjoyed looking for them, and the terrapins and stick insects were a bonus. There...More

A bit early in the year but still a good variety of butterflies to marvel at. Worth the entrance fee just for the look on the faces of some of the children as large butterflies floated by or even landed on them. I cannot understand...More

Once located, enjoyed a good half hour or so here. Small but reasonably priced, clean and very informative and dedicated proprietor. Situated next to Cadbury garden centre where we went on to spend the remainder of a worthwhile afternoon out.

I wouldn't have thought so. It's quite small and hot, they also have terrapins and I'm not sure how much I'd trust my dogs not to eat a butterfly flying an inch from their nose!
