I love Maitland Gaol I have been on a couple of tours there now they are very interesting and you really find out how the prisoners had to live. I am planning next to do a sleep over tour that would be awesome.

This is a very interesting tour, take your time as there is so much to listen to on the self guide tape. Quite challenging in places to see how the prisoners lived just a few years ago. Also very interesting past history

Hi Jo, the self guided audio tour is $22 for adults ($16 for concession/children) and runs 10am-3pm. There are other guided tours available for a slightly higher price i.e. $28 Cheers, Marc
