This small museum just behind the Hotel Posada de Hidalgo has some history of the region and about the Mayo indians. It is worth the small entry fee and also has good views down to the river and beyond.

M$ 20, so not very expensive & rightly so, not much to see, the photography exhibition was interesting. The views from the roof was the best bit in my opinion.

This is a beautiful location with views of the town and the river. They have a wonderful museum with fantastic pictures and displays about the history of the town.

We visited late in the day and the display rooms were unbearably hot. Exhibits were okay but nothing great. The view from the roof is the best in town and made the visit worthwhile.

Clean and we'll presented... and the 10 peso price was more than reasonable. The views from the top were great.

Climb the small hill to visit the Museuo Fuerte Mirador. Only 10 pesos entrance fee, and the opening hours are very extensive. While we were visiting, about half the museum was closed for renovations, but we enjoyed reading about the petroglyphs in the area and...More
