Ordered their brie & cranberry baguette, for £6.80. That’s quite a lot of money for what is basically a sarny, but if the brie is thickly sliced, there’s a delightfully generous dollop of cranberry & the baguette is artisan bakery standard, then I’m very happy to pay that. It wasn’t. The brie was thin & the cranberry quantity lacked generosity. Although the baguette was part-bake it was ok. The accompanying salad was small & not very imaginative (no coleslaw & no crisps...). Very disappointing for that amount of money. Had a chat with one of the staff members, who did apologise, which is fair enough. Hopefully they’ll think about it & revise their approach to sandwich making & accompanying side salads.…

A great antiques centre to visit, very eclectic range of items to rummage through. However the one small blip that gave us pause for thought was that in the Flying Goose Cafe, it would have been nice to see the raw food handled with tongs or gloved hands.
