A little neighborhood in Favara, Sicily. I visited it on a EU project, so I didn`t have to pay. Now as I think about it the entry tax of 10 euros is a bit high. Maybe they can think of another founding of the place...More

Brave locals with a view and a belief in the future have envisioned this art project in the midst of a town which is left to abandonment and urban decay. Not my particular style but really worth a visit and I bow to the idea...More

Probably us - we just didn’t ‘get it’. Not worth a visit at all. And to pay 10 € each for the privilege - nope. But as I said, maybe it was us.

A really interetsing bit of regeneration which offers design, scuplure, painting and photography. However, I think it needs some Italian design exhibits. After all Italy has an internationl reputation for first class design from cars to apartments to cooking equipment.

We visited this place in early November, when things were rather quiet. We were very much impressed by the story of this project, but could not really connect with much of the arts displayed at this point (except for the exhibition on Japanese architecture). The...More

absolute disappointment. the tourist does not know where to go exactly. where to look for interesting places. where to find parking. reality was completely different from the presentation in the media. damage. we'd rather go to the sea

Touring Sicily we found many places with beautiful empty houses. Most of them in the middle of towns. I think that the idea of “Farm Cultural Parks” had a potential to inject new energy into such places and to make them alive again. This idea...More
