We were not given what was promised and we were overcharged. The guide was terrible. Basically walked us around the Kibbutz which was not what we came for and showed us a promotional film we could have seen at home. A terrible waste of time. Avoid.

If you’re off the beaten track in Emek HaMaayanot, and want to stop for a coffee and cake, this jewel at Kibbutz Sde Eliahu is the place. Also worth a visit to BioTour.

Interesting tour of biologically clean way of battling infested crops. short film and discussion with guide about what they do. There is also a longer tour that we didnt do.

We started with lunch. Seems like every item was deep fried but it was fine. Then we met our guide Mark who was very knowledgeable and showed us a number of operations on the kibbutz. Then he told us the story of BioBee and it was fascinating. Worth a few hours of your time.
