Walk NZ’s longest swingbridge before taking part in a range of activities from high speed flying-fox rides and jet boating to more leisurely strolls along the Faultline loop walk to view some of the site’s fascinating geological and historical features. The loop walk, for instance, encompasses the famous White’s Creek Faultine, - epicentre of the 1929 Murchison earthquake, where the ground rose 4.5m (15ft), historical goldworkings and the chance to look for gold on the river banks. The flying fox is suitable for all ages whilst the jetboating is one of the best runs in NZ.

We were headed for Punakaiki along the Highway 6 so that we could see Buller Gorge. The road runs along a good part of it so we saw a lot. Then we made for the famous swing bridge of the gorge. It's the longest swing...More

It isn't until you get across the bridge that you realise the work that has gone into the construction and the ongoing maintenance required. Being early on a May morning we had the place to ourselves and completed all the walks available. We did the...More

To cross the swing bridge is $10 per person which may seem steep for crossing a bridge but it isn't until you're on it that you appreciate it and its engineering and structure. It's quite shaky and it definitely had me sweating at some points...More

We enjoyed walking over the Buller river on the swing bridge. Some visitors found it a bit scary but did it anyway and felt pleased with their achievement.we also enjoyed the loop track and the views of the river.

Our main reason for visiting was to use the toilet, the swingbridge and the walk were interesting but if not for mother nature we would not have stopped. Not worth the $10 let alone the $30 they wanted for a short flying fox ride back...More

Stopped during our drive to see/walk over the draw bridge. Costs $10 NZD/pp which if you don't plan on doing any other hikes in NZ, is a good deal, but if you are doing any other hikes as in Mount Cook or Abel Tasman, then...More

We had been walking over many other swinging bridge in the region and should have skipped paying to walk over this one. The walk on the other side was just on buggy, dirt trails and with so many other beautiful walks this should have been...More

This is a privately run attraction, and the suspension bridge was very sketchy! The walking trails are mud tracks in the bush. Bugs were terrible. Definitely NOT worth the price of admission!
