Spectacular water hole in the middle of the West MacDonnel Ranges. So beautiful and tranquil. A corner of paradise. At night you will be embraced by a million stars. Don't miss it.

What a beautiful scenic drive, I had to stop so many times to take more and more photos. I recommend everyone travelling through the centre to take a drive down Larapinta drive.

Big nature understated and you can avoid the crowds (mostly) in summer. Great rock formations and gaps, Pound Walk is a highlight if you are not up for the full trail.

Larapinta Drive follows the Macdonnell Ranges giving you access to Simpson's Gap Standley Chasm, Ochre Pits, Ormiston Gorge, Ellery Big Hole and Redbank Gorge. The drive is easy and the ranges spectacular. The ranges used to be red from the ironstone dust but introduced grass...More

Our guide today was Chris, and a lovely bloke he was too, a very knowledgable and all round good guy. Excellent value on this day tour, usually with a 'very easy' option if you find walking on rocky ground difficult. Good lunch at Glen Helen,...More
