Almond tree farm
Feb 2020 • Business
We visited the bolsa de Sela on a trip to purchase a farm. It is a lovely town to visit with the thermal pool to swim in. There are some lovely restaurants for meals and snacks all very competitively priced. Nearby the town of Tíjola is lovely with a very good market. The railway station and train are very interesting to visit if you are an officianado.

Worth a visit at least once!

Having visited the pool many years ago I took my family today. It was entertaining to swim amongst the tiny little fish. Very popular with the locals (a plus in my eyes). We ate at a poolside bistro where the service was first rate and the food contained some fantastic (aubergine in honey fritters) and less fantastic (sweet pate’) dishes. I can imagine this place is a must in the cooler months if the water maintains its temperature. Free to swim. Reasonably priced food. Garcias Cela x

Natural thermal pool
Aug 2019 • Solo
Large fresh water thermal spring pool. Large and not crowded in August ! A few fish swinming about but they are an inerest and not a distraction. Ramp access for less mobile. A few cafes / restaurants on site. Free entry.

Great place for a drink, tapas and swim
Jun 2018
This place is just a few kilometers from my place in Spain, and I go there at least once a week when I'm there. The thermal balsa stays the same temperature year round and in the summer there are many people swimming but it never seems crowded. There are a couple of bars around the pool itself (my favourite has the red tables and the tree growing in it) and more just away from the pool area. Drinks and tapas are very reasonable.

Brilliant FREE Natural Swimming pool - with surrounding cafes
Aug 2018 • Family
Easy to find (with the help of google maps).

Free parking on-street and surrounding car parks. We went in August and it wasn't overly busy.

The pool itself is free to use by all. Bring food/drinks and you'll not need to spend anything.

Lovely naturally heated thermal pool - allegedelly used since Roman times - that is a great day out for all ages.

There are some (small) fish in the pool - don't let that put you off. Water isn't too deep - most people can stand up somewhere.

Some nice cafes/bars around it - we went to a Pizarria which was good value and good service.

We were there about 5hours - little man would have stayed longer still!

Recommended if you're anywhere nearby - we stayed near Albox.
