We visited Caribbean Paddling to get a kayak to make our first visit to Pinel Island. You will find them in the parking lot for the Pinel ferry. Look to your left as you head towards the water. The service was friendly and we were happy with the price of $30 for the day for a double kayak. A dry... More

My wife never kayaked before and it has been years since I have, but we both made it to Pinel Island in about 20 minutes. The best snorkeling was by the small deserted island about halfway out. The only drawback is the taxi ride is shared and you may need to return sooner than needed if the others have a... More

We had never kayaked before but decided we wanted to try it out so we booked through Caribbean Paddling. Our driver picked us up at the cruise port and took us right to the location. She was wonderful and nice to talk with on the way. Her taxi was the cleanest we'd ever been in! We were issued our kayak... More

We had scheduled this a few weeks in advance for a Monday, but you could just show up...there seemed to be plenty of equipment available. We had scheduled a stand-up paddling boarding (SUP) lesson for my boyfriend and me, and then an afternoon of kayaking. Unfortunately I was getting sick and I wanted to do the kayaking, so I conserved... More

Reaching Cul de Sac ferry station, you see a spot of colors on the beach, like a rainbow of kayaks, waiting for you on the sand. That is what caught our curiosity and made us decide between the ferry or the paddling option. When we got to the shop (a cute creole house!) we were approached by Fabienne who helped... More

Great way to spend the day from the cruise port. A woman named Joyce picked us up at the cruise port to take us to pick up the kayaks. What a great, funny woman and we had an enjoyable conversation to and from Caribbean Paddling. It was easy to kayak across to a small island where we snorkeled and saw... More

While there is a ferry, the Kayak is the way to go across a gorgeous harbor with reefs and turtles. Double and single sit-on-tops.

My wife and I rented two single kayaks for $30 US and had a most amazing day. We started the day on Little Cay where we followed the advice of the staff person and found excellent reefs on the left side of the island. Then it was a paddle across the channel to have a great BBQ lunch and a... More

I arranged transportation to and from my hotel and received great service. The check-in process was efficient. The staff are very courteous and they are attentive to safety. The equipment was excellent. I had no trouble paddling to Pinel Island and back even though I was a novice, because of the protected location of the cul-de-sac. It was the first... More
