Small enough to get around easily. Big enough that there's loads to do. Interactive sessions at regular times throughout the day. Lovely playground and picnic area too.

I was going to visit this farm on a rainy day but I didn't in the end. I went the following day on a Sunny day and it was great and realised if I had gone on the rainy day it would've been a great outing nonetheless. There's lots to do and the kids can feed animals as well as... More

Thank you for your review, we are pleased that your boys managed to burn off some of their excess energy in our play areas, hopefully they enjoyed the experience with the animals as well, you are correct that there is still plenty to do even on wet days, as the animals still need feeding. We hope that you and your... More

Lots to see and do, plenty to come back for and well worth a visit. Very hands-on which is definitely a bonus It could possibly do with some updating, certainly in the cafe and seating area but it doesn't take away from its charm. The staff are friendly, it didn't feel too crowded and the farm shop is a nice... More

Thank you for your positive review, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit and appreciated that Longdown Activity Farm is proud of it's 'hands on experience' and your comments about our staff is welcomed, we would really like to expand our Tea room however very strict planning restrictions prevent us from doing this. We came here on a Sunday and I was very surprised with how good it was. When I pulled into the car park I thought it looked quite small but don't let that fool you. The staff at the main reception were very helpful giving us a map of the farm and telling us about the activities that were going... More

What a wonderful place this is! There is so much to do, from feeding the animals, to tractor rides, soft play and pony rides (for an additional fee). Plenty to keep the children (and adults) occupied for a good few hrs. The farm is reasonably priced as is the cafe which sells a large range of food. Also make sure... More

We have young grand daughters of 3 and 5 staying nearby for the w/e and they love animals and are very active so this place is ideal! There have been winter close down improvements: new drive on tractors; and a crazy golf , to be ready for Easter. They loved feeding the animals: young kids with bottle milk, big goats... More

This is a great place for a family visit with lots of interactive stuff for the young (and not so young) ones. Egg collecting, pony grooming, animal feeding, tractor rides, trampolines and indoor play area. Visit in spring to give kids a chance to bottle-feed the lambs. Great idea for a kids party too, where the 'host' child is farmer for... More

Its a great way to spend a few hours....very cold at the moment so wrap up! We got there for 10.30 as that's when they start the calve bottle feeding, then 11am baby goat bottle feeding, then 11.30am baby encounter where you can hold chicks, brush goats and stroke rabbits, then 12pm is adult goat feeding! In between all the... More
