We arrived early to try to access the Carpark, however it was closed due to hurricane damage. From where we had to park to the Carpark was a 45 min walk, so it adds 1.5hrs to the hike. The walk would be about 2.5hrs if...More

We booked a hike up La Soufriere while we were staying at Fort Royal and are so glad we did. Our guide 'Johanne' was extremely knowledgable about the ecosystems, flora and fauna and had a good sense of humour. He took us up the volcano...More

This was a fun and interesting hike despite hiking in clouds for the majority of it. The views must be amazing on a clear day. It was wet and very windy at the top. Make sure you take time to see the vents after you...More

Separately from cardio fitness, I found the downhill portion of this hike to be hard on the knees, so keep that in mind too.
