We biked all the way in from Puerto Viejo and it was worth the long bike ride. Not only was the ride in gorgeous, but the lookout from Miss May Point was fantastic, gave me a very Pirates of the Carribean vibe. Wonderful little trek!

Took a nice hike here one morning - low key way to spend a few hours. Loved the shell beach. Unfortunately with all the rain this past few weeks it’s pretty muddy at some points. Was hoping to snorkel but the sea was way too...More

Tino is the bomb. He is a local who knows everything about the flora and fauna of the Caribbean Costa Rica jungle. He is intelligent about current events affecting climate change an deforestation. He is multilingual. Highly recommend him

Easy and nice walk through the area, with chance to spot small lizards, bugs, birds. Some parts of the walk provide nice shadow which can protect you from sun. It is short walk, worth to stop.

My sister and I were hesitant to go hiking around in the park given the recent reviews of robberies, however we figured we'd give it a go anyway. We had joked about our plan in case a machete man did show up and how we...More

Please, do yourself a favor and don't go! We met a young couple by the Miss May point today and they just got robbed by a masked man with a big machete. He only wanted money from them but as we were going through the...More

The park itself is really beautiful but be aware of entering the remote parts (you can walk until the mirador pretty safely). We got threatened by a masked guy with a big machete, he took cash, backpacks and 2 of our 3 phones. Though he...More

Beautiful walk along the ocean. We saw many animals, including howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, a sloth, raccoons, and more! It was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet.
