My group of 6 women did a half day hike with Peter and his wonderful volunteers. He took us on a jungle hike up to a high point where he built his amazing fully suspended treehouse. Peter is very passionate and articulate in explaining the primary forest we were in and how precious it is. He knows it so well... More

You have got to see it, it is one of the 100 things on the bucket list. Peter is very dedicated to his primary forest and knows a lot about it. If you can, spend the night on top. Bring a Jacket for the night, great view!

Absolutely loved staying at this place. I found it months before our trip and was really looking forward to it. It did not disappoint. You walk through the rainforest to get there, then rappel up into the treehouse. So much fun. Loved the design and construction of how it is built. The whole experience that Peter and Jason provide is... More

I can't think of any better place in the world to be than the heart of the nature itself. What I must say is that you can never feel homesick or alone up there in the treehouse because it just makes you feel connected to your own heart and the heart of the nature as well. My experience with the... More

We had an extraordinary nature experience at the Amazing Treehouse and Nature Observatorio in Manzanillo, Costa Rica! Guided by designer and builder, Peter Garcar, we were given an expert tour of the jungle on a short hike through gorgeous primal rainforest. Then we arrived at the amazing treehouse which was built without nails and is a site to behold in... More

This was my fifth visit to Nature Observatorio. Every visit is different and very fulfiling. You see different animals literally every day, the jungle is always full of surprises. Peter, Jason, Misa and Felix are the best tour guides ever, they will explain you everything about the jungle during the hike and point out rare little frogs, snakes and other... More

I agree with all of the superpositive reviews in here. As with every treehouse, a stay in one releases your inner child and brings you closer to nature. Of course there are many more treehouses in Costa Rica, but it feels like the Observatorio in Manzanillo is the only one I've seen so far that is truly living up to... More

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. To go into the jungle with Peter Garčár who knows rainforest for 16 years as his own hand and knows about plants and animals everything and can talk about it hours. Climb up to the rainforest & eco & friendly tree house at 25 m he has built. Spent the night,... More
