Good

Actually, I really like this place because the water is clear and the atmosphere is quite shady. But I think the surrounding area is not very clean because there is a lot of waste left over. which I think if this can be solved it will be very good.

It is a place of Kanchanaburi. There are a total of 7 levels of waterfalls. It is beautiful and the water is clear. Nice to play and worth a trip Can walk to all 7 floors up to us.

Dangerous and Ugly!!
Apr 2021
Tiers 1-4 are fine as usual but after tier 4 lots of construction is happening. There are paint tins and sand bags everywhere and some strong smells of solvents along the way. Tiers 6 and 7 are particularly hazardous with metal spikes sticking out, broken bridges etc. They should close it rather than charging people to climb around a dangerous building site.

Massacred by park management
Oct 2020 • Couples
Access to water forbidden with plastic tape and signs everywhere, with staff trained to force you to wear life jackets at the only waterfall opened to the public. Water isn't even deep there. Upper part of the trail is a construction site with concrete and plastic trash everywhere. Obviously no warning beforehand that you're paying full price for a terrible experience. Oh, and as a foreigner, you're paying 3x the price, no matter if you live in Thailand or not. #2pricethailand

Well maintained park
Oct 2020 • Family
This park is about an hours drive from Kanchanaburi and worth the ride.
It’s well maintained and marked. Golf carts are available at a slight fee for the ride up to the trails leading to the various falls which are impressive.
Swimming is normally available in the various pools but they were closed during our visit since the water was high and dangerous due to heavy rains
There are seven levels to view but we only went to three.

We had lunch at one of the restaurants near the parking area and the food was quite good and reasonably priced.

Not worth it at all during the rainy season
Oct 2020
Avoid this place during the rainy season. It had rained heavy the night before and made the water muddy. My photos speak for themselves. It was really not worth our time, energy and money.

steps 1-3 relatively easy
steps 3-5 relatively strenuous
steps 5-7 hiking path is nonexistent making the hiking extremely difficult

Great quiet walk.
Sep 2020
No rain and not much sun made for a great day around Erawan Waterfalls. We were almost alone for the whole morning and definitely the first to climb to the top this day. On the way down we met a few other visitors. I was however surprised that there was not that much water in the falls. Will probably look better in two weeks time.

A lot of work is ongoing to facilitate the climb up to the upper falls. Rangers are building concrete staircases.

Didn't see any monkeys or other animals.

Beautiful scenery
Sep 2020
This is quite a climb, but the gorgeous scenery is worth it and should you make the trek you'll have some absolutely beautiful photos to share. There was no swimming this year, regrettably, but we did encounter one monkey. Still, it was a lovely trip and I highly recommend it. I'd also recommend wearing tennis or hiking shoes. Definitely not sandals.

No Swimming
Sep 2020 • Friends
Unfortunately no Swimming allowed. Managed to go all the way up to Level 7. It is worth the 300baht for foreigners. Food stalls located at the car park also served tasty Thai food.

Beautiful but visit ruined
Aug 2020
Unfortunately there is two price Thailand, 100thb for Thais and 300thb for foreigners. This makes a trip for a couple almost 20USD, completely excessive.

We arrived at 2:30 and were informed the falls closed at 5 so paid our 600thb and continued. When we reached the fourth fall at 3:40 we were told we couldn’t go to 5-7 as they were now closed. Extremely disappointing to pay so much and to not be accurately informed, really ruined our experience. I don’t really understand why falls 5-7 need to close 1hr 30 before the park closes, it only takes 10 minutes to reach them and 20 to make it all the way back to the car park.

The falls we did see, 1-4 were beautiful. I would definitely return if it wasn’t so expensive.
